How the Wireless Bobulator handles data — both on the device and in the cloud.
On-device
The Bobulator processes everything locally by default. No signal ever leaves your facility unless you explicitly configure an outbound route.
The only data the device transmits on its own is the operational telemetry you opt into: rule execution counts, latency histograms, and firmware version. Telemetry is anonymous and rate-limited.
Cloud coordination (optional)
If you choose to enable cloud coordination, the Bobulator syncs rule definitions, audit logs, and aggregated metrics to your tenant in our managed cloud. Raw sensor data is never sent to the cloud — only the decisions the engine made and the actions it took.
Third-party services
The Bobulator’s web dashboard uses no third-party trackers, ad networks, or analytics scripts. The only outbound network calls are to:
- the cloud coordination API (if enabled),
- the firmware update service,
- the time service (NTP) for clock sync.
No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
